"ART IS MAGIC."

Stuttgart artist Jessica Franguéré discovered her love and passion for art and painting as a child. She started painting in oils at the age of 14 and over the years she developed her own, very personal style, which can be recognized in all of her paintings.

"When I paint, I forget everything around me. I immerse myself in a completely different world. My goal is to let the viewers of my works immerse themselves in this world as well, to escape everyday life for a short time. Art is beautiful. There is nothing more beautiful than standing in front of a picture and losing yourself in it, discovering new details again and again and enjoying the various structures and color gradients. All of these positive feelings that accompany me when I paint are reflected in my pictures and I want to pass these on to my viewers."

Acrylic paints are mainly used for her paintings. Various spatula and flow techniques give her works of art a unique structure. A special feature of almost all of her creations are the metallic colors that she uses very often to give her pictures a extraordinary to add elegance.

Her series of pictures "Golden Girls" is particularly close to Jessica's heart. Inspired by the Black Lives Matter movement, she wants to use her colorful pictures of "African Beauties" to speak out against the violence and oppression of people of color and women. The message is:

"You are golden. You are worth it" and is meant to express that we are all equal. We are all worth gold. YOU are worth gold!
